Ross Berg:

ACMG Assistant Rock Guide
Ross Berg is originally from Alberta but now calls Squamish his home, despite having travelled around the world to climb. He is currently trained as an ACMG Assitant Rock guide and brings a very strong climbing background to his profession.

In a relatively short amount of time, Ross has emerged as one of the nation’s top young adventure climbers, with difficult rock, alpine, and bigwall ascents to his credit. Ross has never been one to merely ‘test the waters’ of an activity and dove headfirst into climbing after tailing a local Squamish guide up the popular Angels’ Crest on the Chief. This particlular climb really got Ross hooked on rock climbing and also inspired him to pursue a guiding career. It is the guide’s ability to introduce not only a new sport, but an entire world to an eager new climber that really motivates him. Always laid-back and friendly, Ross' easy-going nature makes him great company on and off the rock.

Ross will be teaching;
Sport Climbing Basics on Saturday, July 19
